I’m doubling up this week to get “caught up” on posting. First is week 31:
As you can (hopefully) see, I chose to stick with yellow and gray for the week. I’ve been in the mood lately to pick colors to stick with for the week instead of just whatever looks good at the moment 🙂 I’ve wanted to cut one of those jars off that Dear Lizzy paper since I got it and thought it would help fill out the weekly card perfectly and then I stamped the little deffinition from the matching stamp set. Then I grabbed those really pretty yellow glitter Thickers and just loved the way it looked together.
A few of the pockets:
And then to tie in the yellow/gray thru the layout:
While at Target doing a little school shopping I found some sticky tabs in the dollar section that matched my color scheme perfectly, so I had to grab them. I used them to make notes on my insert for the week – a little Olympic sports coloring pages my youngest did for this:
————————–> WEEK 32 <—————————–
For this week I took my color scheme from my girls' swimsuits (matching) – shades of blue and aqua with bright purple. I even copied the dotted circle with an older CTMH stamp that I have:
Please pardon my 2 blank areas – I forgot to print a couple of things. For the week card slot, I decided to stamp a background paper for under the 4×6 card using that CTMH stamp set:
Every now and then I set up the tripod so that I can be IN a photo – I thought this one was important to show that we worked on this together. This is my daughters and I working on their summer “mini-PL” book using Simple Stories 6×8 albums.
Had fun with the 2 journaling sections using up more Echo Park word stickers and then some of the tags from when my mother took my girls shopping for school clothes:
And finally, I cut up a 6×12 page protector that had each 4×6 divided into just one single 4×6 (did that make sense?) and put 2 journaling cards in it from things my husband and I had wrote about happenings that week. They didn’t really fit into the layout, but I thought they were important, so here they are (the back has an RSVP card for a wedding we were invited to since I responded online)
I always forget to say that I am linking up to The Mom Creative for Project Life Tuesday. You should check it out … after you leave me a comment 🙂 Thanks for looking and have a great day!

Great pages! I love how your week 31 card turned out – I’m pretty much sold on the need to include a mason jar in my album.

I love the way they look! I stalked Archiver’s for a couple months trying to find the samp and finally just ordered it at 2Peas (and got the paper at A’s)

Fabulous pages! I love how you included the tags from your kids’ back-to-school clothing. Cute idea!

Thank you! I think it’ll be neat for them to see brands that are still around when they are older and if the logos have changed 🙂

Love your pages!! I think that is awesome your kiddos are getting into the mix as well! What brand of letter sticker did you use on your “wk 32” card?

Thank you! They are a set of Thickers I got at Big Lots one of the first times I went in there (about a year ago). I love them!
